morning Ted

2 humans, 2 canines

We have stockings hung on our little mantle--one for each human and one for each dog. My wife put up the tabletop "kitchen tree", with cool kitchen-themed ornaments. Today's mail brought an eBay gadget--the boxy little Polaroid PDC 5070BD camera, a 5.1 megapixel bit of arcane revelry perfect for my lo-fi photo designs. The camera lacked a promised SD card, but fortunately I have a spare.

Teddy, age 17, now barks far too much for attention in the time between 4 a.m. and 6 a.m. In a younger dog, I would train her out of it, but her cognitive skills seem a bit in decline.

Fortunately, giving her affection seems to help, being at root, after all, probably the issue.
So I will rise before dawn to pet our dog.

The world seems a livable place today.
