Today I got an invitation to write an article about why I release via Creative Commons for a new website. I'm looking forward to writing about the virtue of sharing.
I missed the deadline to submit a musical track to the regular netlabel release Classwar Karaoke 16, through human error entirely my own. I'll participate in volume 16 as a listener, which is a fine role for me, and hope to submit to 17. I'm still disappointed that through my own error, I'm not on 16, whereas I've been on the past five or so Classwar Karaoke releases. It's one of those non-shattering setbacks of no particular moment, that nonetheless rankles, because the error is entirely a calendaring error of my own.
I've got to finish mastering my EP "Weights and Measures" and then see if the netlabel fellow who kindly offered to release it is still on board.
The weather today was crisp and overcast. Last night we finally got rain. We probably need another dozen inches to really begin recovering from the drought.
Tomorrow I have a medical test. I do not get to eat or drink from 1.30 a.m. to 7.30 a.m. I'm eager to undergo this test, which sounds very sci-fi to me. I've read up on the literature of possibility aa, bb and cc, as well as the various occult possibilities dd or null set. I'm ready to go and see what may be seen.
