foil

Last night I cooked vegetables wrapped in foil, with the crockpot turned on high. They did not take long to cook. My wife is on a business trip in the east. We spoke by telephone as she encountered plane delays. The heat returned yesterday, and is expected to last all week. Somehow, though, once the heat has broken, it can never really come back--at least not until next Summer.

A kind cashier pointed out that a banana I was about to buy was bruised. My car crossed 165,000 miles on its odometer, though it is showing me signs it is time to get a new car. I have a hint of a sore throat, and a feeling that I want to keep getting things done until more things are done.
