fire, rain

The paper today reports that some 90 percent of Possum Kingdom State Park has burned. Dozens of homes have burned, and more are in jeopardy. I hope they get the rain and the resources they need to fight this huge fire. On a much less important note, this probably will delay our planned imminent trip next weekend to Possum Kingdom Lake.

We rose early today to take a walk in our neighborhood. Yesterday's cold front made the morning just slightly tinged with cool air. The weather here forecasts rain in the coming days. I hope the rain hits to the west of Fort Worth.
