The Low Times of Hi-Fi

Above: Pharacom-records.de release "The Low Times of Hi Fi", 10 disks of MIDI music on floppy disks. Three Gurdonark songs are on disk 8.

Things I miss:

1. my Commodore 64 SX computer.
2. playing "Frogger" on a bowling alley video machine.
3. 128 baud modems.
4. Compuserve.
5. slide rules.
6. books available in almost every urban area which contained maps of almost everywhere in the city.
7. Brylcreem.
8. cafes with home-made rolls.
9. school lunches from 10th grade featuring home-made-tasting food.
10. keypunch computer cards.
11. "Captain Fantastic and the Brown Dirt Cowboy" pinball machine.
12. 8-track tapes.
13. Kukla, Fran and Ollie.
14. Patio Mexican TV dinners.
15. Red Ball Jets.
16. Creem Magazine.
17. Kool-Aid sweetened with cyclamates, the best-tasting carcinogen on earth.
18. space food sticks
19. 45 rpm singles, side B
20. being oh-so-innocent and oh-so-knowing.

They hooked up the integrated circuits, and teleported us away.
