in bloom

The Texas wildflowers bloomed this week. I've driven past fields of bluebonnets, hillsides of showy evening primrose and a wetlands area with a solid beginning of Engelmann's daisy. This year will not be the banner year of some recent past years, due to a dry early Autumn, but it's nonetheless a joy to see.

I worked tonight past 8 p.m. We halved an acorn squash as part of dinner tonight. We watched the season finale of "Fairly Legal", our new favorite television show. I feel empowered, a bit, now that I am eating on Weight Watchers points system once more. I foresee active days ahead. I even will go so far to foresee good things, and wish them to envelop you, and you, and you.
