weekend's end

Sunday wound its way smoothly, bringing to a close this four day weekend. I walked at afternoon's end on Trinity Trail. Small murders of crows flew from tree to tree. Seagulls swam on the lakeshore. I saw a huge mussel shell.
Small sparrows flitted in flocks. The grass was tall and yellow-tan. The temperature was warm, but the air hinted at a chill.
