I like going to work on Mondays, but I think I will like coming home from work, too. I looked at the Toys R Us catalog, which arrived in the mail. Toys R Us closed its local store. Its catalog, I imagined, would be a bit like the Sears, Spiegel and JC Penney catalogs of my youth. We did all our Christmas shopping through those catalogs. The Toys R Us catalog featured few of the traditional toys of my youth, like bicycles and telescopes, and lots of big-ticket things coupled with lots of insubstantial things. I am pleased it is November. Steady on, now, to Thanksgiving.
