gray skies

Each one sees an alien

Saturday morning my friend and I fished at White Rock Lake. Students at SMU rowed crew. I caught three bream and a small bass. We ate soft tacos. We saw men pouring asphalt on a city street.

I read a magazine article about vanishing birds in the prairie. I watched an assortment of sports contests.
The weather was full of gray skies. The news reported on storms. I felt tired much of the day. Grackles congregated everywhere, as they are wont to do in the Fall.

We dined on seafood, and got the Verizon store to set up my old phone as my wife's main phone.
