step by step

in transit. one place to another. from here to there. across the horizon. the setting sun, orange over clouded skies. the morning dawn, illuminating strange places. the feel of the familiar changing into the less familiar. a hovering metaphor, just above the noon-day sun, about transit having more than a physical dimension. transit has a temporal component. transit through time, like a sun-dial.
