We saw sloths, anacondas, hammerhead sharks, leafy seadragons, sea anemones, piranha, burrowing owls, manikin birds,hawk-headed parrots, giant spiders, various Central American primates, soft tacos, and people wearing sports t-shirts indicating they were fans of the Oklahoma State University.
The crowds were light. The tropical birds were abundant, and given room to fly. The jelly fish were jelicious. Only the jaguar disappointed, because he alone had an inadequate living facility.
After dropping my friend at his home, I stopped by half-priced books. I bought some inexpensive CDs, including a boxed set of Fairport Convention and Steeleye Span songs. Then I returned home, where glad tidings awaited me.
My wife and I went to a CompUSA, where I got a new laptop computer. Then we went to a JC Penney, where we found me some but not all the clothing I currently need to replace worn items.
We then went to Japan House, a fixed price buffet place which served fantastic food. The weather warmed a bit today. People were everywhere quite kind. I read up about how blue moons are not literally blue. I love New Year's Day.
