indigo may

During a hike on Trinity Trail, we saw two indigo buntings, what I believe was a dickcissel, and a handful of Eastern bluebirds. We also saw blanket flowers, primroses, susans, daisies, verbena, and a heartful of things I did not recognize.

Tonight I had a great dinner at Rockfish Grill with my sister, her husband, our niece and my wife. I had the Copper River salmon. Otherwise, it was a quiet, slightly down-mood day, but who can complain about indigo buntings and good family time? We even got to watch a groomer show on Animal Planet.
