equinoxing

Today I read in a book about a labrador retriever rescued by an animal shelter, who became the "house dog" of a tourist hotel. I drove by Texas bluebonnets in bloom. I heard a dark grackle sing a surprisingly sweet song atop my chimney. I grappled with an intellectual problem, and looked up to discover myself satisfied with its solution. I spoke by telephone with a beloved niece, who, if things work out correctly, will come visit us next month. I went to the sandwich shop where they know my name and customary order. The weatherman promised rain, while the wind promised change. A man made a video in flickr of a time-lapsed sunset in Newfoundland, using my song "Plains". The clouds swirled blue-ishly against a yellow sun.
