Duck Creek symphony

Duck Creek, Garland, Texas USA, originally uploaded by gurdonark.

"My life flows on in endless song;
Above earth’s lamentation
I hear the sweet though far off hymn
That hails a new creation:
Through all the tumult and the strife
I hear the music ringing;
It finds an echo in my soul—
How can I keep from singing?"--Robert Lowry

Today at lunch I went to the nearby Duck Creek Greenbelt. Warm weather welcomed warblers' winsome wanton wildness.

Tonight we went to a community theater production of "The Odd Couple". Then I found out that the animated short for which I did the soundtrack just released its first episode at the funnyordie website.
I'm glad to see that project come to first fruition.

Tomorrow? Fun outdoors.
