a few things

I think sometimes that I am a 215 character person in a 140 character world.

I am at a loss why one can send a DVD to Germany for 3 dollars, but it costs 6 to send a book first class to California. I am not literally at a loss, but somehow life should be about more than weight.

I am pleased that my week got off to a crackling start, and eager to see it blossom into an accomplished middle age.

I feel as though I owe the world a telephone call. I did manage to buy postcard stamps today--pictures of fresh fruit. Life is an endless citrus, and I am resisting using the words "pit", "juiced" or "pulped" to finish that metaphor.
