Last night we saw Kristy Kruger and Lisa Loeb play at Rock House Films, a great concert space that holds about 100 folks. Kristy Kruger was in amazing form, with her excellent downbeat-Americana song-writing chops, witty banter and retro sensibility, while Lisa Loeb's ebullient down-to-earth earnestness always delights. We really enjoyed both artists--in some future world, Kristy Kruger should be a household name.
We have a barn swallow who lands on our small ficus tree on our back patio. He is so cute--he just perches on it and sings, more or less heedless of us. Lovely coloration.
I've been enjoying Ulead film editor. Corel products always work well for me. I created a simple soundtrack to a friend in Spain's 45 second fledgling bird video. I hope she likes it, but it is not hard to re-edit the song if she prefers a different one.
I called my dad, saw Sex and the City, and thought how in one week, my family reunion in Texarkana arises. This Summer's dance card has lots of nice slow dances filling up the card.
