It's Friday at 4:52. I have a new fishing license. I have a sunny day. I have Saturday plans to drive a young friend to Park Hill Prairie. I have kites. I have enthusiasm. I have the satisfying conviction that my dogs will bark to greet me when I arrive home. I have the strong and yet nearly certain to be merited hope of a nice dinner with my wife and good conversation. I probably have a world of problems and challenges. But right now I have car keys, and
a clear idea of the path home.
