It's no longer the Kroger with which I spent my childhood when not only is there a sushi table, but also a charming young woman who slices expertly and bows politely while I pick the negri pieces.
Lunch, by contrast, was a Peruvian restaurant that opened in Garland where a Long John Silver's departed. The food was quite good, although I had to have the order redone, as it came out tacu tacu con bistec instead of the ordered tacu tacu con camarones. I hate to waste food, but I wanted the lesser waistline hit of the camarones.
Tonight my wife's work requires her attention, while I am beguiled by two dogs and project runway.
