I find it hard to believe that Wednesday is over already. I drove home late-ish, while John Edwards explained to NPR how we ought to pull together to help the impoverished. Our dogs had been for a grooming. Bea was sporting a curious bandanna when I arrived at home.
I've found places in Puerto Rico or Costa Rica that might be interesting to visit and do-able for a future vacation. I carried a huge book of orchid photos to lunch with me--I love floral bio-diversity. I could imagine becoming an orchid hunter--never to pick or uproot, but just to see, and perhaps to photograph. I would love to have a botanist's scalpel-like skill of identifying genus and species.
"In the wild"--we all live "in the wild". We choose how to celebrate or desecrate the uncivilization around us. One can even imagine that all the roads have been taken--and that made all the difference.
I'm daydreaming about preventative medicine, effective slow fixes, and how many lawyers can pin the head of an angel.
