Twas the parody lost in wonder

I was going to paste "Twas the Night before Christmas" in my weblog, alter the words, and create what surely must be the 24 billion served parody of this classic poem. Then I went to Project Gutenberg, saw the illustrations by Jesse Willcox Smith, and instead provide this link to the 1912 edition, because they're simply gorgeous illustrations:
