St Paul, but without a good beat and you can't dance to it

I was pleased when I learned that the year-end CC Mixter Dot Org remix contest was of Christopher Willits, a fellow who adds ambient touches to more traditional music to create a pleasing sound.

After spending the evening remixing his "Colors Shifting", I've come to realize that he is gifted indeed. What gorgeous samples!

My remix changes this piece a lot, but leaves in all the beautiful bits. The result is posted at:

I named my remix "Minnesota", because it features ample field recordings from Minnesota, as well as Verian Thomas, who would, no doubt, be from Minneapolis if he were not from the United Kingdom.
