cold front



We had our first truly chilly night last night. The preceding wind gave way to lingering freeze.
Our brave stand of native Autumn flowers may prove embattled. It's time to bring the cactus indoors, and to think about firewood for our little-used-but-lovely fireplace. It's hard to believe it's past mid-November. We'll be eating turkey in a week, and then counting days until Xmas.
