dream sequence

Tonight we watched the Shirley Temple version of "The Little Princess". We'd seen the modern remake a very years ago, so it was interesting to see the Temple version. It's easy to see why
she was so popular. I liked the dream sequence, when Shirley the Princess watches Shirley the ballerina dance. I like the story, too--perhaps the most appealing vestige of theosophy.

The rains came through in a big way today. I dared to think that the drought might not be perpetual. If I can just get my arms around my week, I'll give it a big hug and hope for more rain.
