The coming change




In the mid-winter, the time arises when one longs for the heat of Summer. Then, in mid-August, thoughts turn to snow.
When September comes, snow remains a fantasy in north Texas--a fantasy ordinarily fulfilled for only a day or two in January. Yet the first meager descent in temperature makes the possibility of that future relief that slightest bit more palpable.
