Phoebus: Electronica 06 tribute album

French musician Fabien Claudel makes electronic music under the artiste nom de guerre of Phoebus and NoSushi. He and I have become long-distance friends, without having met, because we enjoy listening to and remixing one another's music.

Today Fabien released a new album:

I'm very pleased that he took my music and made it into a new album. If you'd like to download the album, it's free at:

Zikweb.org.

I am very happy with the work he did, which takes my own weirdbient mildly minimal sound and makes it into real music. This is the fun of remix culture--to share and morph and reconstruct and grow new things from old seeds.

This was a good bit of Monday news.
