at sea with an extraneous border

We all waddle a bit, on the fringes, vaguely out to sea, not quite connected to the land. But the water can be warm and pleasing, and the food is great.

This morning I recorded my gourd kalimba onto a cassette tape, then ran it through "stereo mix" on my computer to make a .wav file. I then ran this .wav file through my Slicer synthesizer, which altered the kalimba to ghostly metallic drones. I uploaded a small sample into ccmixter, but I look forward to using the material to create a good ambient song over time.

I also looked at petfinder.com, perhaps one of my favorite places on the internet. The homeless pets there break my heart, and yet it's so uplifting that this effort is made to seek home for pets.
