I'm glad I resumed my habit of having a bowl of raisin bran with skim milk each morning. It provides me with a feeling of having eaten heartily, which makes eating less during subsequent meals easier. I've had little trouble returning to healthy eating thus far. Now I must increase my exercise by a few times a week. I got inspired to return to healthier living when my father said he had lost fourteen pounds through eating better. He has a bit more stress in his life than I do now, and I figure if he can do it, then I can do it, too. I'm glad I only have one bit of travel this week, and that bit is a day trip rather than an overnight stay. It's much easier to eat appropriately at home than on the road. Perhaps this weekend I'll also find time to play some music on the dulcimer.
