eep, ohp, op, ah ah

Today I spent the day in deposition. Tonight I'll do some drafting on another matter. It's amusing to recall the time when I contemplated starting my own law firm, and wondered if I'd ever find enough to do.

I had a grilled cheese sandwich for lunch. I have a lot of things to do tomorrow. The other night on the radio someone sang the old Freddy Fender song about "I'll be there before the next teardrop falls" and somehow in my mind, it juxtaposes with a nearly-forgotten UK band called the Teardrop Explodes, and I don't know what I know about teardrops, except that the "op" sound is almost like the "up" sound in "teacup", and I'd love to sit in a cafe, sipping mint tea, and thinking great thoughts, but instead, I'm driving home to the suburbs.
