standing when people sing

Although my sleep was punctuated by doses of waking, I got a good night's rest. Last night I address almost half of the packages I need to send out. I had hoped to get them all done, but I ran out of energy. If the CDs arrive, I can get that half in the mail, and then do the other half tonight or tomorrow. If I feel up to it, though, I will go with my wife and our friends to Handel's Messiah in downtown Dallas, thus setting back my gift packaging a bit. I will wear a suit to work today (I usually wear business casual when I am not in court, meeting or deposition), and see how I feel. I probably will not go, though, as I don't want to have an infectious personality. But we'll see--although I was originally not looking forward to it, now I somehow really want to go.

Today I work hard on something due Wednesday. Then tonight I either Messiah or I hibernate. It's hard for me to believe it's already December 20. We even have a slight chance of snow and ice this week.
