I worked all day, with some LJ and e mail distractions. When 2:15 rolled around, and I was about to leave, a client called with a drop everything matter, so I did drop everything. I still got home by 6something, just in time to go out for dinner.
We went to the great Mexican restaurant in McKinney, where I had 2 tamales and an enchilada. We rented "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind". I like to see hyped art films after the hype died down. Then they lose their "mythic proportion". I thought the film a very good small film, and that Jim Carrey and Kate Winslet played it just right. It's almost too bad that this film got so popular, because I'm sure some folks went with "big things" in mind for it, when it's really just the best kind of quirky small film.
Today was not my pinnacle day for graceful interaction, so I'm glad I undertook very little of it, and worked hard instead.
