The universe explodes and reforms

We took our brown lhasa, Teddy, for a night-time walk. Up overhead we saw Perseid meteors. I saw three, while my wife saw one. The one we both saw looked like a giant firefly, just overhead. I read about comet tails and crescent moon visibility.
