reds, blues

After my court hearing in the Gulf Coast town of Angleton, Texas, I drove up Highway 288 back to Houston's Hobby Airport. In the fields along the sides of the road, tall grasses were richly peppered with Texas wildflowers--red Indian paintbrush, bluebonnets, purple flowers that looked like pale, thin iris flowers, and many other flowers, each in gorgeous colors. I love that in Texas we are so often awash in wildflowers.
