One inch cactus

Today has been a road trip day, which I will describe in more detail later. As I enjoy my brief layover in Phoenix, though, I write to note for myself the sheer joy of seeing one inch cacti in tiny pots by the keychains in the airport gift shop. Oh, and the glossy magazine headline about Jewel, "rock's poetess" showing she can "freak". I had every confidence that she could, but I'm sure that the term has changed its meaning since I was 17, and for that matter, since I was 30. Next time I'm in Phoenix, I must mail myself a tiny cactus.
