On the Terrier Cut

I had a fairly busy work week last week, and worked a bit today to stay on top of things.

On Saturday, I walked in Story Park. In the afternoon, I walked from our home on the Ridgeview Trail until I reached the Rowlett Creek Trail and went to Limestone Quarry Park in Frisco. It felt good to walk the 8.8 mile round trip.

On Sunday, I was down .8 pounds at WW. I listened to a sermon by a Presbyterian minister who serves at the Kansas church where my wife and I got married some 31 plus years ago.

I began reading Anna Katherine Green's novel "The Leavenworth Case."  I was not aware until recently of her role in developing the mystery novel, and decided to read one for myself.

My brother impresses me with his new-found taste for the guitar and mandolin.

I came in second tonight in another under 1450 rating tournament, with a score of 5 wins, 1 loss, and 1 draw.

I got good pictures of a Black Saddlebags dragonfly at Bethany Lakes Park.

I like the Petfinder ad I saw about a poodle/terrier mix, which said words to the effect of "he was groomed like a schnauzer but he is more of a poodle."  This fits many people, I think.
