blue-capped bird
After work, I walked on the Chisholm Trail in Plano off Orlando Street. A nice fellow's dog was very friendly. I petted the dog and complimented its joie de vivre, though the words I actually used were more along the lines of "good fellow". I pointed out to the fellow a male Cooper's Hawk in a nearby tree. I handed him my binoculars, so that he could see them. Then he showed me an old nest site, from a couple of years ago. He saw the male and female hawk with their young.
I had a bout of insomnia last night. I used the time to finish Hugh Howey's "Wool". I liked it very well, Still, I am not rushing to read its next sequel. It will be there when I wish to seek it out.
I bought a book on Smashwords about the Nebraska prairie. We watched Chicago PD. My dog loves her little yellow duckling toy.
breakfast: instant oatmeal
lunch: chicken soup
dinner: two beef patties on sandwich slims, with corn on the cob
