rummaging in memories

Tonight I went through a huge plastic box of old photographs to search for pictures of my aunt and uncle. I found some good pictures, and found myself taken with all the little bits of family history across all the branches of my family.  I emailed some photos to my cousins. I posted on another cousin's Facebook a picture of she and her mother from 50 years ago. The little photo scanner I got on sale on the internet some years ago has earned its periodic keep.

At lunch today I walked in Salmon Park. I liked the Downy Woodpecker, the Eastern Phoebe and the Red-Bellied Woodpecker.
Otherwise, the main leisure event was to throw Beatrice's toy duckling at the start of the morning and the early evening.

The meal plan today was simple:
Multi-grain Cheerios and skim milk for breakfast
Chicken breast and leg wth fries and 1/4 biscuit from Church's
Steelhead trout, crookneck squash and a sweet potato for dinner.
