manumit interview 3

I like to work on the Friday before a three-day holiday weekend. My phone rings markedly less on such a day. I got a lot done today. At lunch, I walked in the little ballfield park on Castle in Garland and watched an American Robin. Then I ate roasted chicken and a tiny fruit salad from Golden Chick.

Tonight at 8 p.m. I was scheduled to be interviewed for the Music Manumit Podcast, a podcast devoted to Creative Commons music. My wife made plans to hang out with her friend from her old job and perhaps go see "The Jungle Book". On the way home,
I stopped by Suncreek Park, where the Eastern Phoebes flew in abundance, each pair playfully hunting insects where the trees meet the open fields.

I stopped by the new Sprouts market near my house for bananas. Then I headed home. At 8 p.m., I got on the podcast interview via Skype. This was my third time to appear on the show. Host Tom Ray is in a band in Wisconsin called "Lorenzo's Music". Our talk tonight was less like a "promo my new record" interview and more like "let's talk about fun things about making music with virtual instruments". I
made a new goal for 2017 of doing a livestreamed live concert.

Then I headed to KFC and ate grilled chicken, green beans, corn on the cob and a biscuit. Now I am deciding among formal bird walks or informal hiking and birding tomorrow morning. When I wake up may dictate the choice, but I hope I can get out early before the heat rises.
