census, the latest census

We thought about going to see the Impressionist exhibit from the Musee d'Orsay in Fort Worth tomorrow. The exhibit is in its last weekend. But perhaps we'll just stay in and get things done and relax. I could use a restful day.

The weather today was neither hot nor cold. It was seasonal. I went at lunch to Murphy City Park. I heard a Carolina Chickadee sing, and I followed it as it flitted from tree to tree.

I'm enjoying the Claire North novel I am reading. I listened to the "radio" function on last.fm tonight, which played for me Sparks' "This Town Ain't Big Enough for Both of Us". I like songs that I loved at 14 and still love at 55. I still can sing all the words, and I have a mean falsetto. I read a Twitter profile I liked recently by someone who said she could not stand people who like pop music ironically. I am of the converse school, and love pop music unabashedly but entirely ironically.

I hope it warms up a bit tomorrow.
