New residents
Almost all tame ducks are more or less Mallards, so that a domestic mallard will often be white or a mix of colors while a wild Mallard drake has that green head and black or blue feathers.

Walks and a bit of work
I love to see a garden with great butterflies. Our own back yard draws some, but this year I have not been good about seeking out the butterflies in the wildflowers.

Walks and a bit of work
We sometimes get quite a few species of butterflies in our gardens. They seem to like this area. It is years though since I been on an ornithological trail.
