a quiet walk in a scraggle woods

Today I captured images of a quiet walk at Oak Point Nature Preserve in nearby Plano, which I saved and narrated at this link.

Besides lots of greenery, I saw swallows zooming low, hunting for insects to eat. Puffy gray clouds hovered overhead, keeping things cool but promising future drizzle. Mockingbirds and cardinals sang. Rowlett Creek was full of water.

A huge pile of brown dirt served as a wordless signpost of continued trail construction. Primrose, clover, and phlox bloomed under pecan trees. The aie was warm but not hot, cool, but not cold. I enjoyed my own thoughts, as I walked and snapped photographs.
