We're Off to See the Wizard

We're Off to See the Wizard

Today began in a blur at 7 a.m., and continued in a blur until 7:30 p.m. I love the resonating sound of blur as situations demand a kind of mental clarity available only when one lacks the time for a more muddled way of thinking.

On other fronts, I'm waiting for call-backs, spoken word media, a few snippets of melody, a heart, a brain, some courage, silver shoes, a manifesto, some samples, several replies, and for a picture of me taken by a nephew on a cell phone.

Someone suggested that songs should be reviewed by describing an image the song conjures up, and not doing a conventional critique. I find this process of reviewing energizing.
I love to find the story in things, and turn it into imagery.

I had two slices of cheese pizza tonight, and contemplated the Johnny Cash and Byrds influence on this year's crop of indie artists.

If you're not certain where to go in life, I can help. Follow the yellow brick road.
