"Building a house of cards is a pastime involving stacking playing cards on top of each other, which is risky, since they might fall over with the slightest movement".

Today's resignation of Porter Goss, as the Duke Cunningham scandal widens, indicates that one more card is pulled from the house that Karl Rove and Tom Delay built and which the abashed and unarmed Scott McClellan fatuously and futilely sought to portray as above the fray. Will the house, or rather, two houses of Congress, finally fall? Stay tuned until November--and beyond.
