Warmer June

We considered the past few Junes to be mild Junes. Those months in recent years brought only a bit of very warm weather. This June fails to qualify as a mild June, as the temperature rises to hot levels on many days.

I got an email stating that Embark mailed a new swab for Sparrow's DNA. I look forward to trying to take a new sample from a somewhat rambunctious fellow.

I fell asleep early last night while re-watching the movie "Mrs. Miniver."

I looked at the chess games played by the eight candidates in the FIDE matches to determine the challenger for the next chess world championship match.

My on-line quick USCF chess rating increased 17 points due to my 3 wins on Monday.

I need to buy more safflower seed for the bird feeder.
