Charm of Gold

I read a weblog entry from 8 years ago. Back then I took a long bicycle ride on the Bluebonnet and Chisholm Trails in Plano. I saw a Nutria swimming.

Today I took a late lunch because a client matter ran long. I drove to Bradfield Park to eat my bean burrito and two soft chicken tacos. I saw a charm of 14 American Goldfinches. Each had Winter plumage which mixed well with the sallow and somber colors of Winter ground cover.

A rainstorm appeared to move in tonight, so our dog trainer, Hannah, asked to reschedule to avoid having to drive in the dark in the rain. My wife and I dined on Gorton's fish sticks and watched a Nature program about schools of sardines.

Rob Jones, a local tournament director, linked me up with a couple of more places at which I can play rated chess on-line via chess.com. It was good to exchange messages with him.

I plunked down 20 dollars for a bit of cloud storage as a back-up to my back-up drives.

Sparrow enjoys the new bone I gave him tonight from Hollywood Feed.
