We drove home this morning. I worked in the afternoon. I won a USCF on-line chess tournament tonight at Chess.com, with a score of 7 out of 7. Because my opponents were in the main lower-rated than I am, the result was pleasing but not earth-shattering. . Today I got back the rating evaluation from a tournament a few weeks ago when I faced stronger competition and scored 1 1/2 out of 5. I gained 8 rating points from that tournament. We'll see if I gain more from this one. My on-line USCF blitz rating is now 1420 or so. We dined on salmon tonight, with couscous and broccoli. Last night we watched two episodes of "The Flying Nun." from Dreamwidth, because two posts of the same text are twice as nice
