Feeder report

The bird feeder my wife got us for our anniversary works out well. The feeder uses spring-driven perches to seek to exclude squirrels and undesirable birds. I see no effect on undesirable birds, but a reduction in squirrels. She also got some of that seed that tastes like hot chilis to squirrels but like bland seed to birds. But I am less fond of that mechanism.  I prefer the basic seed.

The primary runoff results meant that my chosen candidate failed to win in several positions. But both candidates were good in each, so
I am unfazed.
