old settlers

At Noon I walked in little Dave Sanford Park in Sachse. I saw a Mississippi Kite soar overhead. At 2:45 p.m. I set off to drive south for a business matter. I stopped for the night in Round Rock. When I checked into my hotel, I asked the fellow who checked me in if there was a walking path nearby. He directed me to nearby Old Settlers' Park. I had known that this park was a large Round Rock park, but its size was larger than I expected. It had soccer fields, a radio-controlled airplane area, cricket fields, soccer fields and baseball fields. I liked its pond as well.

I ate dinner at a Rosa's Cafe outlet, where the chicken enchiladas were suitably verde.  Tonight I watched the old movie "Freaky Friday" on television. I downloaded some more free music software onto my travel laptop. I was disappointed to see that my Shropshire Hills Discovery Center admission sticker did not work out as a laptop sticker.
