rerun

On the way to work today, that curious birdsong came from our backyard Crape Myrtle tree. I had heard this song in the neighborhood but not recognized it.  But this morning I got a good look at the bird that was singing, and got its photograph. It was a Bewick's Wren, a bird more common a bit west of us. I was glad to get a mystery solved.

I worked a solid day, and got to eat chicken enchiladas in tomatillo sauce for lunch. After work, my wife and I walked in the park. The Orville was a rerun tonight, so I watched British mystery on PBS and then drew flowers using tuxpaint.
