bus and sandwiches

Tuesday had lunch with my younger partner .I enjoyed the chicken soup at Gloria's. I picked up salad for my wife at Panera, as she was a touch under the weather.

Wednesday I got up at the crack of dawn to drive to Dallas. I caught the 6 p.m. luxury bus to Houston. This worked out well for me. I like being able to use the spacious seating and free wi-fi to get my work done.  I rode home after my business, arriving in Dallas at 7:15 p.m.

Tonight my wife and I ate sandwiches from Subway. We walked Beatrice. We saw three ducklings on the shore. We did not see their mother, which was troubling. But we did see a juvenile Killdeer standing by them, as if standing watch.

I keep making calls on family matters and getting things done, but I want to get more done.  Work, meanwhile remains busy but productive.
