At Weight Watchers, I was down 3 and 1/2 pounds. I had followed the new Freeform program, which involves fewer points but more incentives for eating protein, by making certain items zero points.
After Weight Watchers, I walked in Hoblitzelle Park in Plano. I saw my first two Fox Sparrows of the year. This was my 110th Collin County species.
At church, the speaker was the senior pastor. He gave a very good talk about the Christmas story in the four gospels. Afterward, he talked to us about what we like and dislike about the Way teaching service. I was ready to explain what I liked, but others said the things I would have said. That worked out well. He let us know that the Way teaching service would go on hiatus next semester, as the professor who lines up our speaker is on sabbatical.
I went to Denny's for lunch. I had scrambled eggs, turkey bacon, a ham slice and some pancakes. I had though the eggs would be "free", given the new Weight Watchers wrinkles. But they cost 6 points. So I resolved to order egg whites next time, and ate only a portion of the pancakes.
In the early afternoon, I took Beatrice for a walk. I listened to the football game on the radio was I walked. Beatrice elected for us to walk near Kerr Elementary rather than in the park next door. The weather was warm, a marked change from the bitter cold a few days ago.
In the late afternoon, I rode my bicycle over to Green Park. They finished renovating the small park. It looks good. I took photos of Yellow-Rumped Warblers.
